BSO at BPAC

A Letter from the President

Dear BSO patrons and friends,

We hope you are all keeping well through these challenging times. As you know, the performing arts, like many sectors, have suffered significantly during this pandemic, but rest assured, we are working to make certain there will be an orchestra for you to enjoy as we move to a “new normal.”

Under normal circumstances, we’d be on summer break… but Maestro Mastromonaco, the Board and I are committed to continuing our work, including evaluating opportunities for projects to keep our orchestra “together” and relevant to you and the community we serve.

We’re also continuing our discussions with BPAC, to understand when we will be able to play “live.”  In truth, there continues to be a lot of uncertainty around our upcoming season and although we have already done a lot of work on our 2020/2021 season lineup we are not yet in a position to announce it.

As always, we appreciate your support and patronage and thank you for your continued engagement.

Stay well,

Anda Protopopescu, President of the Board
